The OSHA Sanitation Standard for Construction requires 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal for every 40 workers when the construction site has 20-190 workers and 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal for every 50 workers for 200+ workers. Outside of these workplace requirements for construction sites, the general rule of thumb is one portable toilet per 50 people. So, if you have 200 people expected to attend your event, you should have a minimum of 4 toilets. You can always rent more if you feel that it would benefit you and your guests.
